“Burning bridges isn’t just a figure of speech this week in Genoa City… it’s a declaration of war.”

In a week crackling with betrayal, confrontations, and unraveling alliances, The Young and the Restless kicks into high gear from May 19–23 — and no one walks away untouched. The chessboard of power shifts violently as Michael Baldwin and Kyle Abbott make bold moves that could forever damage their closest relationships, while Phyllis, Amanda, and Billy spiral into emotional freefall.

Sally Spectra pitches a retro 1950s launch party for AbbottCom, all full of optimism and charm — but Billy Abbott’s head is somewhere else entirely. Haunted by guilt over how he handled Phyllis’s firing and pressured by Nick’s criticism, Billy makes promises to Sally that feel increasingly empty. And Sally knows it.

In walks Amanda Sinclair with news that sends shockwaves through the room: she’s now working for the mysterious Aristotle Dumas. She offers to help Billy get a meeting with her elusive new boss — but Sally doesn’t trust it. And she’s right not to.

Amanda’s cool confidence masks a loaded secret: Dumas isn’t just a financier. He’s a man with long-reaching power, and as Amanda shuts Phyllis down in another heated exchange, she makes it clear — Dumas will never fund Phyllis’s company. In fact, Amanda suspects Phyllis has no real plan at all.

Phyllis, ever the schemer, makes a final desperate guess — maybe Dumas wants Chancellor Industries. And even if she can’t win, she mutters bitterly, “Let Victor and Nikki lose.”

Meanwhile, Damian reveals he’s staying in Genoa City — and wants Amy to move in with him. Devon is not thrilled, sensing complications beyond the surface. Lily, though, seems unfazed and offers Damian a managerial position. Is she playing with fire?

💔 TUESDAY, MAY 20 — VICTORIA’S BIG DECISION & CLAIRE’S PROPOSAL FLOPS

Victoria makes a pivotal choice about her future with Cole — but is it love, or something darker driving her?

Claire’s proposal to Victor falls flat. And as Holden crosses into obsession territory grilling Kyle about Audra, alarms begin to blare. Kyle, meanwhile, edges closer to reckless revenge, dragging more than just himself into dangerous waters.

⚠️ WEDNESDAY, MAY 21 — MICHAEL DISTRACTS, VICTOR SEDUCES, DIANE DOUBTS

Michael tries to distract Lauren — but she sees through it. She’s growing increasingly disturbed by Victor’s grip on her husband, and she knows Michael’s loyalty to the Mustache might be destroying their marriage.

Victor, ever the enigma, switches gears and plans a romantic evening for Nikki. Is it love — or calculated distraction?

Meanwhile, Diane is rattled. Jack tries to comfort her, but Billy’s recent jab — accusing her of stripping John Abbott’s legacy from the mansion — cuts deep. Diane’s position in the Abbott family feels more fragile than ever.

💣 THURSDAY, MAY 22 — AMANDA RETURNS, AUDRA CORNERED, DAMIAN MAKES HIS MOVE

Amanda’s return shakes Abby to the core — and the past she tried to bury resurfaces fast. Old wounds, old betrayals… Abby fears Amanda wants revenge for her affair with Devon. And maybe, she should.

Elsewhere, Kyle and Audra face off at Society. Tension crackles, accusations fly. Kyle’s vendetta grows dangerous.

Damian makes a bold decision, likely tied to Lily — and maybe Dumas. The question on everyone’s mind: Will we finally meet the man behind the name?

🔥 FRIDAY, MAY 23 — MICHAEL WARNED, KYLE DRIFTS, AND WAR BREWS

Victor delivers a stern warning to Michael — likely one of his signature ultimatums. “My way or the highway.” But Lauren is done playing the supportive wife. She sees the cost, and she’s terrified it might be their marriage.

Kyle’s recent behavior is spiraling, and Diane is deeply concerned. Victor’s influence, Audra’s betrayal, and a hunger for control are leading Kyle down a dangerous path — one that might burn every bridge he’s ever built.

🌪️ UNDATED BUT UNDENIABLE — THE STORM BUILDS

Claire tells Kyle she hates his plan to entrap Audra. She doesn’t want her boyfriend anywhere near that woman.

Amanda reassures Abby — Dumas isn’t after Winters. But that may be the calm before the storm.

Phyllis reaches out to Nick, thanking him for his loyalty. And maybe, just maybe, she’s ready to accept the comfort he once offered. But if Sharon is back in the picture, that triangle is headed for collision.

This week, every choice carries a cost. Every secret is a weapon. And as power shifts behind closed doors, friendships, marriages, and reputations hang by a thread.

Who will survive the fallout?

Can Kyle and Michael salvage anything once their bridges are ash and smoke?

🔥 Stay tuned, Genoa City’s about to explode.
