The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, August 25 reveal Victor Newman turning the tables on Cane Ashby. Meanwhile, Nick and Adam Newman put aside their differences to protect family. Plus, Lily Winters confronts Holden Novak about Cane’s scheming.
Victor Blackmails Cane
Victor Newman isn’t taking no for an answer. On Monday, he revisits his offer to Cane about targeting Jabot.
Victor proposes an alliance but adds a threat. He hands Cane an envelope with supposed evidence of “dirty money.” Spoilers reveal the evidence links Cane’s fortune to Colin’s last swindle, which cheated an elderly woman out of her estate.
Cane denies any knowledge. Victor fires back: “You can’t prove you weren’t part of the plan. You stood to gain the most. Dirty money, dirty empire.”
Faced with exposure, Cane reluctantly agrees to work with Victor. “Seems like I don’t have much of a choice,” he admits.
Brothers Unite
While Victor pressures Cane, Nick and Adam Newman put aside their personal grudges. The brothers decide to work together to protect their family.
Adam worries about Victor’s plan and fears it could backfire. He asks Nick to talk sense into their father. But Nick insists they trust Victor and even wants to confront Cane directly.
In the end, Adam and Nick agree to join forces. Their mission: protect the Newman family at all costs.
Lily Confronts Holden
Meanwhile, Lily Winters tracks down Holden Novak at the park. Holden reveals he has taken Damian’s old position and will be based in Genoa City.
Lily warns Holden that working for Cane could backfire. “You’re going to regret it,” she tells him. She claims she’s doing him a favor by giving a heads-up about her ex-husband’s schemes.
Holden insists he has no idea what Cane is up to. Lily doesn’t buy it, saying, “I find that hard to believe.”
